I think it would take some serious modifications to get a Sherpa van indicator to replace the Lucas (or whatever) indicator/sidelight on an M-series.

Not so I'm affraid as I bought a pair of Taimar indicator lights recently from these people and they are identical to the S (unless they have identified them incorrectly) if you look closely at the top left hand corner you will see the idetifier 6677

Your picture shows Sherpa van lights as used on S-series.

Taimar (M-series) indicator/sidelights (Triumph Dolomite) look like this:

Hi Roy

I'm just repeating the description given in the ebay auction. I'm no expert on the M and I'm happy that you are more knowledgeable but whatever the advert says the lights will fit the S (I have have bought two from these people and the photo is of one of them)

Yep - I've had my eye on that! I'm pretty sure they're misdescribed and are actually S lenses.

They are. You can just see the Leyland DAF logo at the bottom of the lens in Norman's picture.

description is wrong. Those will fit an S, but not a taimar. He says that they fit Taimars from mid a980s to early 1990s. Taimars weren't made then.

You would think that if you wanted to make an extortionate profit you would at least take the time to find out what you were selling... if only to help the search engine.
