Hopefully everyone in their S's got home ok? Only problems for me were a boot that wouldn't open then wouldn't close, someone helping themselves to my TVR dustcaps from my tyres and the fan which stopped working a couple of miles from Calais. Temp was ok while we were moving but I got a bit worried at the queue for Dartford tunnel though....
Great weekend, hope you all enjoyed it as much as our group did
Now need to find time to clean the car for S Club.....

Glad you got home okay, Longers. Graham and I got back pretty late last night after a cracking trip and no unwanted dramas. I'm particularly proud of driving all the way from Le Mans to Newcastle sans roof! I think that's a new record for me! My car is covered in resin from the trees at Houx, so I'll also need to get cracking for S Club next weekend.
Sorry to hear that your dustcaps have gone missing. One of our guys had some stuff disappear from a locked glovebox on the supermarket run on Friday morning. I think it was the only thing that spoiled an otherwise perfect trip.
I kept a look out for your striped-up S, but unfortunately I didn't see it. It should stand out at S Club though!

I knew there was something I wanted to catch on TV over the weekend.
Hope everyone had a good time. Obviously didn't go myself, but when I went out for the TVRCC meet/convoy at South Mimms the Sunday before last I bumped into a couple of guys in stickered up Robin Hoods who were heading down. Sounds like fun.

Same again, there and back without a single mechanical glitch. Had time to return on Sunday pm via the "old" N138 (or whatever they call it these days) - just had the hood up for 1/2 hour or so near Alencon when the heavens opened.
Coming to think about it, 30 years of Le Mans trips in everything from a Morris Minor to an XK120 via Lotuses, fast Fords and a Marcos and the only mechanical failure was in a truly awful Saab 9-3 turbo diesel that I was stupid enough to buy from new 3 years ago..
