When for my arthroscopy op on my right knee this morning. But had got bitten on that knee by something like a horse fly a couple of days ago and the side of my knee was bright red, hot and swollen. The surgeon took one look and cancelled the operation because of the danger of seroius infection from the bite which was almost on the site of one of the entry points.

So now I'm a course of antibiotics and cant have the surgery for at least two weeks (probably not then because of summer hols most likely August time)

BUT it means I will definatly be at S Club Heaven

I'll be the one limping around with a stick

Blimey that must be early then as Longers needs us to assist with the tent at 7.30 so I will need to be out of my pit by say 7.29'ish... no need to set an alarm then ?

Sorry the op has been delayed, I think you were bitten at Northampton, As I has suoervised my lad dismantling the tent, my arm spurted some blood (no pain) and there was a hole in it. Then Tony Tiger (with the green Alpine) had the same thing happen a bit later.
