Leather treatment

Afternoon'

I know this has been asked about a million times, but what are peoples' thoughts on these leather repair kits?

Is there much difference in ease of use or final effect?

I'm not too worried about the cost as long as it's a one-off, but can someone recommend a numpty-proof, effective treatment? My drivers seat is stained and slightly cracked.

Presumably it's a good idea to take the seats out before doing it? What's involved in doing this?

Hi Chris

I recently cleaned and re dyed my seats with on of the kits from Woolies. I took the seats out and unbolted the back from the base which you will need to do if they have contrasting piping so that it can be masked off. I posted a couple of before and after photos on this link.
