calling V8s owners

Can you please tell me if you have a 5AM or 3AM air flow meter installed.

5am,

I believe the 3am is not suitable. Can't remember why.

The pic looks diferent to the actual unit ever-so slightly.

I ended paying £42 for it, bargain I thought and works great.

The ERR part number listed is applicable to our cars

Mine has it on a label stuck to the top of the meter.

Mine had a 5AM. I think this is almost universal on the hotwire RV8 TVRs.

I have a 3AM
My understanding is 3AM is pre cat and 5AM is cat, but 5AM will work with pre cat.

I have a 3AM too. Manufacture date 07/91.

I assume that there is little difference between them. At the mo mine is running with a 5AM fitted.

I can't see mine as it's in the garage, but it's pre-cat with a catted exhaust if that helps

How's that work - you've added in the extra hardware to run closed loop now? (Why?)
