S Club Heaven Woe, Woe and thrice Woe

To quote a well known comedian

I might not make S Club Heaven - as some know I ked my knee earlier this year and had to pull out of the London Marathon. Well I have a date for having it fixed - 18th June THREE DAYS before S Club Heaven. I wont be able to drive I dont think (should have 2/3 weeks off work : and shouldnt be weight bearing) SO ITS NOT LIKELY THAT l'LL BE THERE. Not a happy bunny me. If I postpone the next date would be immediatly before our main holiday, so thats a No No. Otherwise late August.

Thats a bugger - but you really need to get that knee sorted aswell. Health has to come first as I found out recently.

Norman, if you wanted to wait until S Club, some of us will have some kit there and we could do it at the same time

IT GETS WORSE SHMBO has offered to drive me in the Tiv but says she needs lots and lots of proctice and wants the KEYS now

Joking apart she might drive me there in the blandmobile for the day or I might get my friend with the AC Ace to stick TVR badges on it for the day!!! and give me a ride (propably less scarey than the misses in her Rover)

Fingers crossed but the wife keeps reminding me she will drive me in the Tiv as long as she can have lots of practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the 11/18th of June slipped a little, first of all an insect bite caused the knee to swell, then postponed to 23rd of August but the surgeon cancelled due to family problems, then offered the 20th September but that was my first grandchilds christening so FINALLY done last Saturday the 11th October. Only about FOUR months late.

But 'tis done now no pain just a bit stiff
