Adother advantage which Dave_M found out recently is that Hagerty will let you have up to 6 named drivers on your policy.

Dave was going to lend me his V8S for Chatsworth, what a top bloke.

Mine was £193 with them. I must live in a dodgy area. Still cheaper than last year.

Be very careful if you have to make a claim !!! Underwriters are a real pain.

The underwriters were a real pain, nothing but a huge headache. Had problems from day one, it all boiled down to the crazing on the bonnet caused by the stress of a car reversing onto my bumper and bonnet. This damage was disputed by the underwriters, they even tried to get extra money out of me.

Not part of the group that owns Hagerty maybe?

Sounds like the other half of ------ and leicester, can`t name and shame, rules etc.

Yep, they're the only reason I managed to buy my first TVR at 24. You needeed to add a zero on the end of their quote to match just about any others.

I hopes it's not herracy to mention this, but they do almost equally good prices for other types of modern classic too. A few years ago (when I needed a 2+2) I got quotes for a 944 S2 and a Lotus Excel from them and they were very impressive too.
