S Club Heaven Update 3
Dave (Dave_M), Mark (Gozzy), Dale (Mycroft), Ian (Longers) and myself (Barkychoc) met up recently for our third S Club planning meeting.
We know it has been said before but remember the Kit Car Show is the 21st & 22nd June, but S Club Heaven will be on the 22nd.
TVR’s are welcome on both days if you want to make a weekend of it.
We have our own parking area for TVR’s available on both days.
TVR's & Drivers get in free - just make sure you drive to the exhibitors & kit car entrance.

Raffle
Ian & Dave have been working hard on the raffle and we have some fantastic prizes which are detailed in a separate post here --> Link
Go Karting
Gozzy has arranged a go Karting competition as there is a track right next to the venue – again more details are in a separate post. This is subject to there being enough interest. Please add your name to the Go Karting post if you are interested. There will be a trophy for the fastest lap on the day. Link here --> Link
Scenic Drive
We will arrange a scenic drive of the area – probably in the order of 45 minutes.
More details will be released later.
T Shirts
Gozzy has put a lot of effort in and had a new T Shirt designed for this year – we are still finalising the design but we are quite excited about it and more details will be released soon.
Loudest V6 & V8
Self explanatory I hope! A trophy for the loudest car in each class.
Best S in Class
The votes will be cast by the most critical judges – S owners!
Classes will be S1(&1.5), S2, S3/4 and V8S
Accommodation
We are waiting for some further information on Car Friendly Hotels in the area from the Kit Car Show Organisers – there are a number of links on the Kit Car Show website but we have no advice to offer for any of them at the moment I’m afraid.
As soon as we have more information we will post it on the forum.
Camping
Yes the one you’ve all been waiting for! Camping on site is free.
Camping is allowed in designated areas. You need to drive to the exhibitors & kit car entrance.
This may include our TVR area but our exact location on site hasn't been finalised yet.

I'm sorry to say that Chris / Barkychoc has been taken poorly so he'll not be picking up his emails for the timebeing. We can't match Chris for his superb techy knowledge about the S's but if you have any questions regarding S Club feel free to post them here or email myself, Dave M, Gozzy or Mycroft.

It is difficult for us to judge the best places to stay as living locally we have not had cause to try them.
Some years ago before we started camping on site we stayed at Millgate House Hotel. It was very nice with car parking and is in the centre of Newark, which made it nice for meeting up and looking round the town centre and walking by the river in the evening.
Even closer to the showground is The Roman Way which is a travel Inn. It is a short car distance out of Newark but too far for a stroll into town. It has car parking but can get busy as the pub is next door.
Damons Motel is in the nearest city-Lincoln about 20mins. drive from the showground depending on traffic. It has car parking but can get busy as there is the very popular Damons Restaurant next door specialising in wonderful pork ribs. As we live in Lincoln we have frequented the Restaurant.
