TVR S front suspension

Hello, I have a TVR S1; the front suspension is fitted with SPAX G 296 shock absorber, 14" open lenght, and 10" springs rated at 270 Lbs/in which is , I think, a typical value.Unfortunatelly, this arrangement gives me only a ride height of 80mm, which is very low indeed.
I don't know what to change to rise the body by, say, 30/40mm.Do I change the spring rating, the spring lenght, the shock itself? I suppose that the open lenght of the shock absorber must remain the same, otherwise I'll have some problems to put it between the attachment points of the suspension system.
I would like to know the factory specifications about the front shock absorber/ spring, but was enable to find them.

Where are you measuring from?

Under the main chassis rails you should have around 165mm/175mm front/back.

IIRC my front springs are 375lb on GAZ GP8 adjustable shocks.

How old are the springs, they could have sagged...

I was measuring under the exhaust system, just below the engine;I know it must be lower than the main rail, but 80mm is definitely too low to drive safely.
Your spring rating is much higher than mine; is the ride still comfortable ?

Dont know exactly how much there is under the exhaust must be at least 100mm. Reference point for any set-up is always the chassis rails.
Ride is fine, not really 'confort' but not 'hard' either.
