TVR Insurance

Just bought a TVR S3C and had a bit of a job getting insurance at a reasonable cost until I checked this forum and found reference to Hegartys. Fantastic! As a second occasional car for an old fart driver and his better half £141. Excellent service as well from a TVR enthusiast and owner. Anyone needing cover should try them.

There are a few S owners in & around Leicester.
Petclub & Longers spring to mind.
I am in Bingham up the A46 but work in Enderby.

Hopefully see you around next year, my car is tucked up at the moment, I'm going to start a chassis refurb wish me luck.

Welcome to the world of S ownership

I'm near Rutland Water and organise the "Rutland Rumble" once or twice a year for a variety of sports cars - (60 on the last one, mainly TVR's!) - that you'll be welcome to attend. Just keep an eye on this or the Northants forum. If the weather is suitable there might be a winter warmer run over the next months or so

As Chris has said, Petclub and a couple of others from here are around Leicester so you're in good company.

Go on, show us a pic of your car please, you know you want to, you do!

Welcome Phil. You're definitely in the right place to get all the insider info about S series on here! I'm also with Hagerty after reading several recommendations on this forum a while ago.

What are these Doug? Something at Silverstone, presumably?

T'was a meet up in their office carpark for a tyre kick and nose around followed by a drive out around the local countryside. Attracts a wide range of different cars that they insure of all types and ages.

Not sure when the next one is. Don't think its a free for all, I got the invite via a mate who insures through them too. I think they try to keep the numbers down otherwise it would be mayhem - just in the right place at the right time I suppose.

I was probably the most modern 'classic' there with the S.

Thanks for the messages. I will get a picture at the weekend. Looking forward to a winter of tinkering and will need some assistance. I agree... Hagerty cut £120 off Classicline for the same deal... very agreeable people
