To be honest Maz I'd get your garage to source them & ask them to get some decent ones.
There's discs and discs. They are more than a round bit of metal.
Loads of the stuff on ebay is unbranded and of God knows what quality.
I did buy some off ebay - but I spent ages looking before I found some good ones of a decent make.
Most of us won't even blink spending a hundred quid to make it go faster - I reckon stopping is kind of impportant too!

Sorry sounds a bit patronising but I can't be arsed to go back and change it, wasn't meant to be.

hmmm, my local garage.........the boys are scared sh1tless of the tiv, and had kittens just doing the waterpump

been on www.tvrcarparts and they have brake discs, pads & hose kits for quite reasonable prices. Will probably source the parts myself then see about getting someone to fit them.

I don't want to sound like a broken record but, as mentioned on the other thread, if you're going to use Gugi's give them a call and let Dave advise you on what is best to buy. I, and anyone who has been in the car with me, have been amazed by the difference the upgraded brakes make. Gugi's may even be able to get the bits cheaper than you....

Below is a list of brake parts i used on my V8s, I think the front discs are the same as the V6

by the way these are standard discs and pads but are good enough for my style.

Front vented discs, Ford sierra 2.0Ltr, Lucas part,DF1646 or Unipart, GBD492---£21.00

Front Pads, Ford sierra 2.0Ltr, Lucas part, GBD255 or Unipart, GBD 280AF---£8.50

All the above from a Unipart Automotive motor factors.

thanks guys, I will no doubt have Gugi's see to the brakes, throttle and FSE valve all in one go as it will be easier for me in the long run.
