V8S heating controls - colours

Can anyone tell me what colours the heating controls on the walnut fascia dashboard are meant to be? I can make out that the two circles for hot and cold were once blue and red. I can't see what colour the up and down triangles were.I was planning to repaint them.

There is some sort of fibre optic cable to each legend from a single bulb located somewhere....
Mine didn't work either. Then I did a full blooded V8 brown trouser standing start in 1st gear, and it suddenly lit up, and has been fine since!

I think you will find the light box for the fibre optic behind the centre console - effectively behind the stereo along with a hell of a mess of other cables!!!
