Dash Panel (Again)

Hi
I am removing my large and small dash panels for re veneering. The small one was fine to remove. I have removed all of the nuts and washers from the large panel but it seems to be holding on the heater controls. Any tis on removing that, I do not want to bend the large panel if I can avoid it. I did look at this thread

If you have all the nuts off gently try to angle the dash so you can get behind it,be careful no to dislodge any wire from he instrument panel

once you can get to the rear not the wiring on the instrument panel as you bound to knock some wires off

the heater cables are held in place by being crushed between two nuts,its either 7mm or 8mm spanner thats required.The fiber optics just pull out.They also don't need marking up as they are interchangeable

Then the dash can be pulled out and the instrument panel can be removed

It should now be out


If your doing the re-veneer yourself i suggest putting a ply backing on first.You can get this from a model shop i use 0.6 mm
