MASSIVEI brought Dave's car and it's by far the quickest, best handling, best stopping V6S I've driven (owned 2 and driven loads of others previously). If yours ends up anything like mine you'll be delighted
Before you know it you'll be back for Dave's brake upgrade - disc conversion on rear and bigger discs on front, oh, and don't forget the suspension set up magic they work there (I first found Gugi's by going there for fitting and set up of Gaz kit)

.... and the custom exhaust Dave had made that gives 3.5cm more ground clearance. 3.5cm isn't much but makes a big difference - no bottoming out anymore! (and it sounds better ).... and the roll bar which really stiffens the car up by an unbelievable amount

Let us know how you get on once you get the car back, which might take a while cos you'll want to keep driving it rather than sitting at a computer
Been in a while although i did take the longest possible route home!
I think its fan-bleedin-tastic! Almost like a new motor.
The throttle response is superb, blip and it twiches.
The exhaust while not over loud gives a great rumble (impressed my brother who has a v8 monaro!)
There seems much more "grunt" through the rev range, im not sure its hugly more powerful but just infinatly more responsive.
Down sides - it seems to throb more at standstill . Bit more of a handful at 20/30 mph it seems to hate slowing down and wants to go fast!
Dave at Gugs (top fella, incredibly helpful) tweaked the suspension settings as a local tvr specialist had Fooked it up when fitting the shocks, now the handlilng is a dream especially at m-way speeds it seems musch less jittery.
I cant wait to do some B-road blasting as most of the route home was m-way and A roads littered with scammeras.
I must admit it wasnt cheap but IMHO it was worth it, im no good with spanners but labour was half the bill (and the fookin VAT never helps), do the same stuff yourself and i think its well worth it.

I had the throttle linkage mod done on my previous S2 and it was very cheap, especially for the difference it made! I think the price may have gone up a bit now seeing as it a more widely known (and profitable for Gugis!) mod.stourbridges2tvr said:

Glad you're happy with it! Those mod's will not make it more powerful but as you say everything happens more instantly. Tweaking it all on a rolling road will probably give a few more BHP.stourbridges2tvr said:
