Proud New Owner!!

Well the visit to Coventry was well worth it as not only did I meet a lot of very friendly peeps I also met Allan whose lovely S2 I am now the proud owner of

I drove it home from Sutton on Sunday - 100 miles of smiling - my missus says she didnt know I knew how to!

It was peerless and so far - only 3 days - all seems to work!

So just to say hi to all of you and hope to get to some meets

Are there any S series in Bristol - yet to spot one!!

So for now I will just carry on grinning like a fool

Give your 'S' a blast and come to the Wiltshire branch of the TVR Club meet. See the TVR car club website for details. We meet in different pubs throughout Wiltshire on the last Wednesday of the month. Last month we had a total of four 'S's there.

Hi, also became proud owner on 3rd August. Loads of smiles and then broke down on the M11 (overheating) on way home. I wasnt happy. Car has been at Offord TVR since. New sender for fan fitted buut still not fixed. I have now had the car for a week and done 50 miles (20 on a breakdown truck). What have I done?

Dont go all negative on it yet mate... so what have you bought and who from give us some more info?

Hopefully this is just a niggle if you have bought a goodun and when its sorted you will realise what a great car you have bought. However, if your new P&J was not well looked after you could have some interesting challenges ahead... but dont despair, help is at hand here, welcome!...

Hi, Thanks for that, got a 1990 S2. Done 21,000 miles with every bit of history you could imagine. Mate of mine is a TVR freak and he had a look with me and couldnt believe how good a condition it was in. Dont think anybody ever sat in the passenger seat. I,m hoping its just niggles due to the fact its ony done 500 miles in the last 3 years.

Yep sounds like you have a great car... you are more likely to have the leesser problems due to lack of use rather than due to being worn out you lucky man. As above, get all fluids changed and have a real good look at all rubber components, hoses, seals etc
