Torque Settings

Help, please!

Does anyone have a list of torque settings for the S3 they can share with me, suspension, steering, brakes etc? I've just spent the evening cobbling together something from the Haynes manual, searches on here, the Chim forum and google and although I have most of what I think I need I'd be a lot more comfortable with a definitive list or something I can compare.

I can't find any trace of settings for the trailing arm bolts and steering rack clamps, and the two sources I've found for ARB clamps and master cylinder to servo differ widely.

Thats a good start but just for the wheel nuts unless I've missed something?

I dont know of anything, but maybe you could compare the bolt Diameters and find a torque setting for a similar size in the haynes manual under Suspension and steering section.
Just a thought as Ive never seen the torque settings your after anywhere.

Why not call a dealer or specialist for help? I'm sure a helpful mechanic would give you some advice.

having seen steve heaths stall over the weekend i was reminded he sells bolt kits for suspension front, rear and both, he may be os some help.
cant see anything in the bible about the semi trailing arms or the steering column.
both haynes manuals i have suggest;
80 to 95 Nm for the lower arm to crossmember bolts.
steering gear to crossmember stage 1 45Nm, lossen fully then stage 2 15Nm, stage 3 turn a further 90deg.
