Service how often?

Like any car, they all benefit from regular oil changes - and I'd base a service on time rather than miles. So, every 6 months as per the 'Bible'.
Just remember you're talking of 15+ year old cars here - so its probably no harm to let a competent mechanic eyeball all the running gear at this sort of time interval anyway.

Mine has done 1500 miles since the last service just over 18 months ago.
The oil on the stick is still golden, but I'll change it this winter.
I'm always tinkering in the garage - well you have to have something to do while Coronation Street is on!
Just a word of advice - don't test drive your car with a maglite torch left under the bonnet like I did this morning.
Scared the hell out of me with a massive clunk-bang! when I went round a corner
Seriously though I'd say if you're doing lowish mileage a service once a year should be fine.
Probably best done in the spring if you don't use the car much over winter.
There's no harm asking your local garage to give it a quick check over after 6 months.

I am going to Ladies meet in coventry on sunday with the Tuscan.
My husband (we had to buy another TVR to stop arguements over who was going to drive the tuscan) drives the S more than me (well at least i think he does even after I take it to work
- what a chore now in the mornings trying to decide which car to take.He has a golfing trip booked on sunday so he wont be taking the car to S club meet either, maybe next time.
