Keen to join the S Club!!!!

Hiya,

After 10 years of dreaming and saving I am looking to get my first TVR, either an S2 or S3. I am looking in the usual places (Pistonheads, TVRCC, carandclassic etc). I wondered if you know any good sites that are also worth keeping an eye on, or alternatively anybody who is selling a car in top condition, preferably with low mileage.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

And if you're using it as a second car insurance cost is about the same for V6 and V8.
I'm paying £157, 3000 miles a year, garaged, £150 excess, £7000 agreed value, 6 points, 3 crashes in 3 years (2 not at fault, 1 in dispute). Better keep out of my way !

Hi Tappo, lige Chris Hagerty have quoted me well, less than 300 for an S2 and a V8S, 3k miles on each. Classicline were good, but a bit dearer. Dave

I have been reading the Steve Heath S Series Bible and spoken to a few people and the issue of chssis rot crops up regularly. There are a lot of S Series for sale, but only a few beauties that have been properly cared for.

The hardest thing is to look at the cars with your head, despite your heart screaming at you to buy!!!!!

I cannot wait to get an S Series!!!!!
