fuel pressure regulator(V8S)

when starting the car from cold,on occasion i have noticed a few drops of petrol dripping fron the bottom of the fuel pressure regulator. i promptly ordered one from Neil at TVR carparts and fitted it and it seemed to be fine till tonite.Has anyone heard of this before? when the car is warm it has never done it, only 3 times in total and only when cold, thanks

How did the seals look on the old one? I'd suspect the seals rather than the regulator itself.

no,seals were perfect i suspected the O ring but not the case. The old part is only 3 years old according to old bill.I will get to the bottom of it and let you know, will be speaking to ex TVR engineer today. Thanks

sorted! and for 30p, hose clip had worn on return fuel pipe, the petrol then ran across the bracket and looked like it was leaking from the new fuel pressure regulator (well spotted the wife) panic over. thanks anyway, Roy
