V8S boot

Hi, I knocked the light switch on getting out of the car in the garage flattening the battery. I left it a few days hoping there'd be enough power to open the boot so I could charge it up. That didn't work. Could someone email me to let me know how to open it. Thanks in anticpation. (Now to post on the Cerbie site for my troubles there...)

Never done it myself but I would imagine if you put 12v on the main wire at the back of the alternator from another battery, which is direct feed to the battery itself, you should be able to open the boot as normal.

Failing that there is the manual way in, I'm sure someone will email you directly.

Cheers Both. I thought there would be an alternative, and there would be a way of making at coonection in the engine bay. Once the boot is open it'll be easier. Shame the Cerb'll be harder to sort out, oh well...
