s1 feul tank

can anyone tell me how hard it is to remove the fuel tank as mine is very rusty inside. Or is anyone aware if there is a product i can put in the tank to de- rust it thanks.

i have used the tanks sealer worked a treat ,but a lot of hard work , drying it after washing and cleaning for pouring in the sealer was the hardest thing to do

It comes out quiet easily if you remove it compleat with the rear sub frame (which will be rotten as well) 6 bolts, (which will probably break) two in each wheel arch attaching it to the main chassis and two through the boot floor. dont forget to support the rear of the body or to separate the filler neck first.

thanks for the advise think i am gonna have to try and remove it completely and try and seal the inside.
