V8S instrument lights

Hi all,
I've looked through the 'S' bible but can't find any instructions on how to
repair the failed instrument lighting on the central dash panel containing
fog lamps, heater and door mirror controls. Where do I begin? Is it as easy as it was on the Wedge with just a blown fibre optic bulb?

Ive just done mine and is was a blown bulb. Your best bet is to take it out and have a look.

I have a similar problem with one of the warning lights on my S3. The two additional driving lights operate OK and are wired through the main beam, but the warning light does not work.
How do you get at the back of the central panel? I have got Steve Heath's bible and this suggests that you have to strip out the central console?
I would welcome advice from someone who has already done it.

I have just removed the complete dash from my S and have renewed every bulb in it.
Give me a call and i will explain how to remove the dash.
