S3C Wing Mirrors Wiring

Does any body know the wiring configuration for the electric mirrors fitted to the S3C and V8S. I am replacing the near side mirror with a new one. There are five wires in total. Three together and then two more taped seperately.
The three together are easy enough as they are different colours and can be matched together. The other two that are taped together are both black. Does anybody know what they are for and any way of telling which down round they should be connected?

The two black wires are for the mirror heater. If you don't have that feature they are not connected at the mirror end at least, don't know where the other end goes to. If you do it doesn't matter which way round they connect.
The Chim bible has a wiring diagram that looks close to whats in my S3 though I don't expect the wiring colours will match up.

as already mentioned it's the 3 together you'll be interested in. On my S3 the 3 mirror wires are black, brown, and white.
The black is the earth, and the brown and the white are the two power carrying wires. I can't recall the corresponding loom wire color on the drivers side but on the passenger side. The white mirror wire connects to the blue wire, and the brown mirror wire to the white wire - At least on my car ! The car loom wire colours are different on the rhs and lhs. There is normally a ganged connector fitted on to join the loom to the mirror though I found mine was badly corroded so I replaced it with bullet connectors.
It's easy enough to test to see which wires you need to use with a voltmeter. You should get either +12v or -12v when you move the joystick up/ down or left and right, and 0v when at rest. You can swap the live switching wires over if you end up with the mirror going left when selecting up etc.
