Performance Sparkplug Leads

We make performance Sparkplug Leads and we need to measure the lengths of leads so we can make bespoke sets for TVR cars. We would like an owner of a S1,S2 or S3 and V8S who lives near to our garage in Forest Gate, East London to bring their car in so we can measure the lead lenghts. Ring me for details.

They're standard Ford V6 and Rover V8, do you really need to measure them? (I have a few sets of RV8 leads in the garage that I could measure if you really want, but any dizzy-based RV8 leads will be the same.)

I did think that they would fit, but the coil lead will be a different lenght as they are usually fitted in a different place.

Hardly free in your case Olav ! ferry fare plus beer money plus recovery etc etc ...

Phil, it says in your profile that you own an S2...?

Surely the machine for the job eh?

Yes I did own a S2, sold it just before Christmas. Now carless. But loking for another. I did have it fitted with these performance leads and had the coil lead shortened. However I reduced the hight of the alloy sheild that goes around the distributor and threw away the small extension peices that fitted between the end of the leads and the distributor cap. I was hoping to fit a new lead end fitting that would do away with extension peice and reach over the alloy sheild with out any modifications. My plan was to get some leads made up and take them to the S Club Heaven meet
