New S1 owner from Poland

Hello fellow S series owners!
a few months ago I bought an S1.5 off German eBay. The car was in pretty sorry shape, but I already had some experience in restoring old cars. I thought that the TVR would be no different (apart from the bodywork), but, of course, I was mistaken. After initial problems with restoring the bodywork to a good standard, the car is now almost ready for the road. Unfortunately, the factory windscreen has to be replaced before we finish changing the leather (it became milky in corners). I read in the parts guide that the windscreen is actually a Ford Cortina component. We imported a new windscreen, but it didn't fit. It looks like it may be a Capri part, but I'm not so sure if it's going to fit either. Has anybody got any experience with this? I can import a TVR part from England, but it will take much too long, and Ford parts are readily available.
