accellerator cable barrel adjuster

after removing my rocker covers I realised I had broken the barrel adjuster at the end of the accellerator cable outer where it inserts into the pivoting accelerator mechanism above the rocker cover. Any ideas where I can get a replacement part. i've already tried david gerald and tvr car parts

I'm needing to replace the spring that assists with throttle closure on mine.
Looking in the Sierra and Granny Haynes manuals, guessing that's where the whole assembly comes from. I'm off to try my scrappy this afternoon but they aren't very big so you might have better luck elsewhere.

i've just fitted a replacement. Broke up the plastic broken bit with mole grips (gnarrgg!), then fitted a slotted barrel adjuster off an old shimano LX MTB v brake lever. Doesn't look pretty but seems to do the job.

All the parts on that bracket are definitely Ford (still trying to get one from a scrappy). If I find another bracket I'll let you know so you can have the adjuster as mines ok (just the small spring broke on mine).

cheers, popped into the local factors and asked for a cable today, told me the engine was obsolete! cheek.
