S3 ELECTRIC WINDOW SWITCHES

Hi guys, has anybody got and spare electric windows switches for an S3 which they'd like to part with for a few quid or point me to somewhere to get them, I believe they're from 80's Alfa Romeo's aren't they?

IIRC they are...

The ones used in the Griff / Chimaera also fit (and work!)... they're from a Vauxhaul Cavalier (rear doors).

Mine are from a late 80's Volkswagen camper van (yes, really). I believe they were also fitted to Golf GTI's of that era.

On a different topic I sometimes wonder if all the money I spent restoring my S3 was worth it. I took it to work today and ended up doing an extra 15 miles. Brilliant...!!!!

Yes, my mate bought a 1989 VW Camper van and brought it round to show me. I was having a good nose around (making the odd joke where applicable) when I spied the window switches. Yes, they are exactly the same as my 1990 S3.

It was a 1989 G reg Type 25 VW Caravelle. Obviously I can't gaurantee that they are all the same but they definitely match mine.

Also, used in a Mk3 golf I believe.
