I noticed yesterday that the two exhausts on the back of my V8S were not level so, having a peek underneath the car, was horrified to see this... Click for image This is taken from the driver's side of the car looking back towards the left. As you can see, the final stretch of pipe has completely seperated from the box and has sheared of from its support a few inches further back. The question is, can this be welded back or should I go ahead and get a new exhaust (in which case I'd go for a SS exhaust - why don't they fit SS exhausts in the factory ?) Any ideas - Steve and a V8S

You could get it welded to keep you going, i've welded worse. SS is not factory fitted due to extra cost i presume.

Thanks LeeBee. I've read in a previous post that you've got a SS exhaust yourself. Where should I look to get one (any recomendations) and how much do you think it'll set me back. If I were to get myself a SS exhaust, I presume it would hook up to the same manifolds - they shouldn't need replacing too. Cheers - Steve
