Clutch !!!

Before I removed the bodyshell I had the usual problem with reverse and sometimes 1st gear, I decided that while the engine was out to take the opportunity to change the clutch, on removal I couldn't find anything wrong with the pressure or clutch plates but the thrust bearing was another story ! not one bearing left in it and no trace of them when I split the box from the engine, I can only assume that someone in the past had the clutch changed and left the bearing. Hopefully when it's reassembled complete with a new slave cylinder I should have the use of all gears.
