Interior lights

Driving down the road last night the instrument lights flickered then went out, I’m guessing a fuse or a problem at the dimmer switch, is there any common problems that would cause this?

It could be the dimmer resistor as every car I have had here has had one give up the ghost, have you tried the other setting (dim and very dim ) to see if this has gone? (they are located in the engine bay under the drivers side wiper arm area, they are wired together using a jumper wire, to fix it just remove this and connect the other wires to either end of the working resistor) otherwise try the fuse etc Cheers LeeBee

I’ve tried the dimmer switch, on all settings makes no difference, I notice that the o/s rear light isn’t working and the number plate light no longer works. Seems it maybe be more than a fuse.
