I'm considering putting some 17" wheels on my V8S at some point in the future. Have seen pics of loads of different types but not many on the actual car itself which would be helpful.

Anyone got any pics of know of the whereabouts of any on the web?

Not in a hurry so just want to have a good look at as many options that are available as poss.

Cheers,

Steve.

I have non standard 17's on mine - see pic in my profile - have only ever had positive comments about them at meets, I don't know what make they are as they came with the car along with a set of standard OZ's - I alternated between both sets but eventually decided on the 17's.

Hi Graham.

The wheels do look good!! Do you notice any difference in handling or ride charachteristics with the 17" wheels. Also what profile tyres are on them? I know that some Tuscan and Cerbera owners have complained of occassionally skittish handling after putting on larger wheels.

Cheers,

Steve.

Hi Harry.

I was thinking along the lines of those big chrome split rims that the max-power brigade like so much!

Oh my aching sides!!

Wheels in the pics look good, I like the way the larger wheel fills the wheel arch a bit more. I'd really like some of the spoked type things like on an Aston DB5 but i'd probably get pi**ed off cleaning the bloody things.

Anyway nothing negative to report about the car.. still having lots of fun surprising unsuspecting owners of cars like Saab Aero's etc,(Did not stand a chance and was utterly gobsmacked). (I'd expand but feel it would be a bit childish on this forum). Good fun though!!

Good to see you are 'using' the car , always nice when you get back off a run and the 500 drivers ask if it standard .
