Have you tried (very carefully) bending the frame to make a closer fit against the seal? I have only had water in from three places: wiper spindles / door seals (when driving through about 18" of water) / open top due to weather forecast failure. Roy C

I have been suffering with the same leak in what sounds like the same place, mine runs down the windscreen rubber edging and then down the front edge of the door and onto the carpet. I think i've fixed mine !! after several attempts to keep the drain channel clear between the rubber seal and the windscreen surround with a bit of rubber tube, I finally inspected the seal itself that runs around the screen and found a 1 inch long horizontal split that allowed water through from the channel into the car. I glued up the split and have been out once in the rain last week - it stayed nice and dry Dont know if this helps, but i'd certainly suggest checking the seal strip around the windscreen very closely Giles
