gaz shocks settings V8s

What settings would anyone suggest for gaz shocks on my V8s, any thoughts appreciated.

Not got a clue, stick them on the mid range and going up and down from there would seem the thing to do .

Have you just bought them? If so, ask the supplier what they recommend.

Try 15 clicks from soft on the front and 25 clicks from soft on the back as a starting point. 4 clicks up or down from there should sort you out but I would always add that getting four wheel alignment checked is a must.

Pretty much the same settings on the V6 as a startng point but before the dogs start howling, wheels would be a factor as would polybushing or any other major changes.

Ride height is another minefield that I have to be careful on because the gap from top of tyre to underside of the wheel arch is quite big on the standard ride height but lowering the car might look nice but what are you doing to the roll centres?

If you want to lower the car I would suggest you get the geo set up by an expert and remember that going lower can completely cock up your handling.

I've just had the shocks fitted at horizon motorsport in cradley heath and i assume they sorted the geometry but they set the ride height too low so i've raised it by 2cm at the back. Would you advise doing the same at the front too?

The springs do settle and the ride height needs checking after a week or two but I always get the front high enough to get the bonnet open and clear the downpipes on speedbumps on the V6S and that equated to a front ride height of 175mm from the main chassis members to the ground on my S's and then had the rear 10/15mm higher at the suggestion of Guglielmi.
