Are the plastic bits and the stalks around the steering wheel from an escort. Reason being my left hand indicator won't cancel automatically and I think I'm going to drive into the side of someone pulling out cos they think I'm turning left. Also I have an intermittant wipe on the wipers but nothing happens. I know this is the way it was on S1.5's but I'm thinking about putting a little timer board triggered off the intermittant switch, has anyone tried this.
Last thing, went to change the wiper blades. Only took the drivers side with me to Halfwits. Bought 2 the same length. Turns out the passenger side is a couple of inches shorter. Duh!!!!!

If it helps, as all Parts Department Jockeys, before the deep intake of breath, always ask "Wots if orf mate"...you can say "Early Sierra". then they larf and larf and larff.

Think Fiesta/Escort for stalks, and Sierra perhaps for the shroud around the column? As said, see numbers and be patient with Ford parts dept when they say they can't work from the Ford number without knowing the model and the registration!

Think intermittent wiper kit called Smartscreen does the job. They are on 01873 812311. www.smart-screen.co.uk
Not fitted one yet but they assure me its easy and works on the S.

My S 1.5 has 16" wiper blades on both sides.
