S series overview

I'm just putting something together for a brief summary of the S series. any suggestions or modifications to this would be appreciated.
About the S Series
These cars were manufactured from 1988-1993 with approximately 3000 being made.
There were 5 variants of the S series made (S1, S2, S3, S4 and V8S). Each had differences over the others. The S1 and S2 are quite similar, the S3, S4 and V8S are quite similar. The main differences being that the S1 used the Ford Essex 2.8 V6, the S2, S3 and S4 used the Ford Cologne 2.9 V6 and the V8S used the Rover/TVR Power 4.0 V8. The other major differences were the styling of the dashboards. The S3, S4 and V8S also had longer doors (5 inches) to make access easier.
Just to make it a bit more confusing there was also an S3c – This was basically an S3 but with a catalytic converter, it also came with a few things as standard that were only optional extras on the S3. Some of the S3c and S4, V8S also had a different bonnet styles.
Trying to identify a car can sometimes be difficult due to TVR’s habit of mixing things around. You could look at an S2 but find that something’s would indicate it as an S2 but other things would make you think it was an S1. The same can happen between S2’s and S3’s. These are usually referred to as S1.5’s and S2.5’s
The cost of an S3 from the June 1990 price list was £17699. Some of the optional extras were :
Metallic Paint : £250
Half hide trim : £440
Full hide trim : £1500
Walnut Interior Trim : £380
Electric door mirrors : £195
Colour coded door mirrors : £40
Wilton carpets : £295
Roll bar : £380
Wooden steering wheel & gearlever : £125
Side decals : £35
Pedal box increased or decreased leg room : £32
