Retrimming Roof Panels
Discussion
I need to copmpletely strip down the roof panels of my S because they are in a bad condition. Following this guide, it should not be that hard... But I don't know where to find the fabric to put on top, and how is it called?
I also need to redo the inside part as water probably leaked and left big black ugly marks. What would you recommend to put? I was thinking black vinyl although it might clash with the coffee interior color... or maybe not.
And finally the rubber seals going all around, anybody know which one they are?

Same material as the hood section (Mohair). I got mine as part of a complete hood from www.autohoods.co.uk/list_tvr.htm. They don't quote the targa sections seperately anymore but may be worth giving them a ring to see if they can supply them.
Interior I would go for a vinyl or leather to match the seats. If you can locate a piece of the original then send it off to someone like www.woolies-trim.co.uk/ they'll send you back some matching samples to pick from.
They may also be able to help you out with the targa panel outside cover material but won't make them up for you.
Failing that any decent car trimmer would be able to do it for you unless you really want to do it yourself.
