This is by no means a thread designed to vilify or in any way besmirch any work done by Austec and others...

I have been there many times, have had work carried out, completed etc etc etc....To satisfaction every time...

What I'm asking IS :-

Having had the Dastek chip upgrade, sports exhaust, uprated brakes, hoses, and much more by the guys...

Are there any other places us S owners will recommed to others... I have read a few threads recently where not all are able to make the trip to Sussex... AND others who say the work done by other independents are equal to that of Austec... How do we go about listing our preferred specialists..?

Where are the rolling roads.. What can they offer..(INLC) - The Surrey guys...?

Which TVR dealers will service an S..? (not Racing Green thats for sure)
What's happened to David Batty... Not heard his name mentioned for a while?
Where should we go for Suspension upgrades, Fitting or advice..?
TVR Carparts online offer parts, which are generally hard to come by elsewhere..
Sherpa are withdrawing the indicator lenses..Where else can we go..?
Peninsula from what I see are offering less S parts on their site than before..
Tower View.. what do they offer specifically for the S..?

We all love the classic car look, sound, and everything TVR S related... But are we fast becoming the lesser supported Model... Not yet true Classic and not New TVR...RV8, AJP, SP6....

Where have you had the support, service and most help for your 'S'...?

Hi,

I use the Old Ford Garage By the Ski Slope in Bracknell. They have been very helpful in finding now rare parts for the car (throttle pot, throttle cable, engine mounts etc), and they charge a fraction of what the specialists quote (i.e full 40K miles service 120 pounds, changed brake and clutch cylinders, and fix the nandbrake 180 pounds including parts).

I d recommend them anyday.

I second that...Guglielmi are great, friendly guys and they do not rip you off. Specific V6 engine work I would recommend Northampton Motorsport, they are very knowledgeable and sorted my air flow problem
