Roof Protection
Discussion
Whilst at SCH I bought some roof protection stuff from the 'Polishing Company' stand.
It comes in 2 parts, a cleaner where you just wet the roof and then spray the cleaner on and then rub it in. Then just rinse it of again to get rid of the soap and let it dry. The water proofer you then just spray on and let it dry (bottle says about 24hrs).
So spent about 90mins yesterday morning doing this (gave the roof a couple of good cleans). So just been out with the watering can to put some water over the roof to see what happens now. The results
it was like playing with Mercury in science lessons at school.

I was very carefull when I sprayed near the edges to try and avoid going direct onto the bodywork. I've just had a look and there were some marks on the bodywork (top of front windscreen) and at the bottom of the back screen I assume from soaking out of the material. Just sprayed with 'Maquires Quick Detailer' and wiped down OK. So it may be worth trying to mask of the bodywork a little.
