Fuel Sender Upgrade

Hi
On my S2 I have the fuel sender with one screw in the middle - which is now dead. I am replacing it with the new plastic one with three connectors on.
Does anyone know how to wire up the new sender to my older system?
I have a ground to the tank and a signal to the centre of the old sender.
