V8S BOOT PROBS

I cannot gain access to the boot in my V8S. I can hear the relay clicking when i press the button but nothing clicks/clunks at the boot lid end. And of course i cannot MOT her because they need to look in the boot during the MOT!! Is there anyway of getting in without using a crow bar of course.
Any advice very gratefully recieved..

Do it with the engine running if you haven't already (slightly higher voltage available, slightly better chance of overcoming a mechanical sticking problem). Have you checked all the fuses? If all else fails there is an emergency way in, but it's fiddly and very hit and miss in my experience - in any case, since it's done from outside the car it's not the sort of thing that any of us would post on a public forum. If you need to try this, call your local dealer or somebody else who knows you.
