A few thank yous...
Discussion
following SCH IV a few thank yous...
firstly to Gazman and Prostoff for all the organising and the trade stands that turned up... also for the wedge invasion who livened up our spirits when the rain was trying its best to dampen them... and of course to all the fellow S owners who made the day such great fun...
I would particularly like to thank Steve J for the particularly close run sound off.... Steve the car sounded awsome when you drove down the drive on your way home... In a sound proof room I am sure it would have been a dead heat... (V8Smith... thanks for NOT turning up with the new exhaust.... maybe next year... we'll see!!!
)
I would also like to thank all of you who voted for my car as best S3/S4
... and also to Mike from the polishing company for voting the car best S in show (also thanks to Mr Sheen for NOT turning up... although it was pouring so you may not have had your bonnet up so it may have been close anyway
)
Just in case you didn't see the trophies here they are

This is exactly the reason I didn't want to park next to you. Well done mate!
Many thanks to all who organised and arranged the day. A good turnout despite the weather and a very nice venue. Good to see the Wedgers too. A comedy entrance and plenty of noise to add to the fun.
I'm off to hang my head in shame at having the quietest S tested - well I suppose it had to be someone.....

There is no way I can pass up a 2 mile straight and an empty outside lane
Sorry I scarpered so early. Went outside to have a mooch around the carpark and do some judging and discovered soggy carpets and leaks galore. I decided the best course of action was to get home to the warmth of the garage ASAP and try and dry it out. The sooner that new hood comes the better. Just need to figure out a way of getting those damn nuts in the boot loose.
