Stoopid question.....

Here we go...... I have an S3 with a glovebox which is opened with one of those strange 'barrel' type keys. Now, I only have one key and as I am bound to lose it, so I'd like to buy a spare. There is no number visible on the key, so is it safe to assume that they are all the same? also, where am I likely to be able to get one?

Web search on Southco... IIRC thats who make the locks... The number on the key refers to the barrel and config.

If you call them they may be able to get you one...

The number is stamped on the inside of the barrel on my key.

It's also written down in the owners manual... which is kept in the glovebox..

I got my key (now Jed's key if I have the right chap) from David Gerald, give him a call and he'll be able to supply one.

You should find that they're all the same and I didn't have to supply the number.
