a) I am looking to buy an S3 in good nick - preferably in Kent or London and b) where can a 29 year geezer with 10 years no claims, who parks his car on the street in London sw11, get an insurance company that will give a reasonable quote? I'm 31 and have just got a V8S insured, along with 2 other named drivers, for £635 per year from Classic Line Insurance, this was way below any other quote I'd been given. The car has been insured as a 'future classic' and the policy limits my mileage to 7500 miles per year. Because it's a 'classic' policy, they let you keep your NCB on another car (if you have another one). If your S3 will be your only car then maybe this mileage limit will not suit you. Also, a classic policy may require that the car is garaged overnight but I'd certainly give them a try. Failing that, the best 'normal' insurance company I've come across is Tesco who provided the best quote after Classic Line. Classic Line's phone number is 01455 891330. Hope that help - Steve.

Thanks Steve. They wont quote me because its not a second car and it needs to be garaged overnight (I live in a high malicious damage area apparently - but judging by the other sports cars in my street, its not a problem on my road). I'll try Tesco.....
