I need a throttle cable for my S2, 1990, G reg. I think i could get one from a sierra 4x4 2.9. I have tried to source one from a few places but have been told they're not made anymore.

Can anyone help? Ta.

My S2 eats throttle cables for breakfast, so I tend to buy in bulk. Local Ford dealer stocks them under part number 6720349 - Cable Assembly for a 2.9 Grandad. Price £15.11.
Having driven home twice holding the remains of the cable as a hand throttle over the top of the windscreen, I always carry a spare!

If you are having trouble sourcing older Ford parts, this lot claim to have lots of new/old stock:

Could you let me have the phone number of where you got yours from as the threaded plastic bit on mine has snapped so it is only a matter of time before it goes...

thanks
