I have found 6 penny washers between the seat rail and the floor, I know you may be thinking to get thread clearance on the bolts but there is loads of thread. Anyway the bolts are being replaced with stainless, surely no washers is a good bet except under the nut. I am thinking of putting 2 spreader plates under the nuts, i.e. joining the front and rear bolt with a plate to spread the load, it would seem stronger than 4 little bolts taking the load especially through fibreglass, any thoughts most welcome.
The penny washers are to spread the load over the fiberglass, and you need to keep them because these bolts through the fiberglass are a pretty marginal way to mount the seats at the best of times. It's well worth fitting brace bars under the floor, there are two chassis rails conveniently placed for this.
I found the best way (after trying for some time to get the bloody bolts off the first time) was to find the smallest width nut and tighten that to the bolt underneath the seat runner, this keeps it in position. Then add one larger washer (about 25mm) and that worked fine. This does mean now I can just undo the nuts and they are off without having to try to keep the bolt from turning.......? Some have put more washers at the front to lift the seat up at the front, its worth playing around with to find the most comfortable seat position whilst you have them off?

remember reading somewhere that stainless bolts have a low tensile strength. might be worth checking, maybe go for zink coated ones instead??
