Cracked heads

Told by a TVR specialist that my cylinder head is most probably cracked due to a number of running problems... However got it out and all cleaned up and can see no sign of any failure; should I be able to, apart from signs that this particular cylinder has been running very rich from all the carbon buildup? Or can I get it tested for cracks somewhere (in Bristol area) to ascertain whether that is indeed the problem, magnafluxing - whatever that is!?

Not sure if they are able to test the head, but Jamiesons in Bedminster, Bristol, have always been very helpful, if they can't they will know someone that can or advise you what to do.

near macdonalds, opposite the model train shop. I will check the road name tomorrow when I'm in the area, its either west or east street, can never remember which is which !!

They will pressure test the head for £35 - is this as good/same as Magnafluxing?
