LSD for S2 recommendations?
Discussion
Looks like everybody else is too busy polishing rockets...
Assuming the S2 has the same 7.5" Ford diff as the S3, then you can source a s/h Ford diff with a viscous LSD already fitted. The axle ratio is 3.6:1. The Sierra Cosworth 2WD has such a diff, but the output flanges are larger than on the S which has the standard sierra/granada size flanges. Possibly a diff from a Granada 2.9 would be the right one. Try Andy at www.donorspares.co.uk. He might have something suitable.
You need to be careful because the Ford diffs come in a variety of sizes, ratios and output flange setups. Some folks might say that the viscous LSD is not that great, but it should be adequate for the modest power of the S.
