Injector help please.

When you take the fuel rail off and pull the injectors out of the head, can you then just pull the injectors out of the Fuel rail in the same way?
which goes first when you put it back together...injectors into rail then rail into head, or injectors into head then jiggle the rail onto each injector?
Got half way and don't want to bugger it up by trying to force it back together in the wrong sequence.

According to Haynes for the Granada:-
Remove plenum chamber and throttle body.
Disconnect injector harness.
Unbolt fuel rail then remove (a good tug maybe required to free injectors from manifold).
Injectors are held into fuel rail with small retaining clips that slide in from the side to lock into place.
Refitting says coat 'o'rings with silicone grease.
Fit injectors to fuel rail with NEW retaining clips.
Reconnect harness.
position fuel rail and press injectors home.
Bolt down fuel rail.
