My roof is ill

Not had the roof down as much as I would have liked but managed to finish up early on Christmas eve from a roof down blast. Once I returned I had real aggro with putting the roof back up.(getting the rear to locate and lock the stays in place)

On inspection it seems the hoop is cracked just above were it meets the body causing misalinement.

The hoop looks as if its made from wood.

Has any one else seen such a thing, it looks expensive?
I think I will pop into Tower view for a quote as there local, when I get a chance.

My roof hoop is also splitting at the base, but not right the way through so it isn't bad enough to cause the roof to misalign. I have always thought it was fibre glass but I'd be interested to know what you find out about it as it is something I have been putting off looking at for a while.
