Christmas Present
Discussion
Father Christmas very kindly brought me two new badges for being such a good boy this year, so it was off with the old...
and on with the new...
The back badge was less than 5 minutes work, but the bonnet badge involved jacking the front of the car up in order to open the bonnet sufficiently (thanks to a previous posting for that idea) and then wrestling with small rusty bolts in a confined space.
Still, all in all a fairly straightforward job, and I'm well chuffed with the results.

Hi Justin,
That sounds like a sound approach. I think the purchase of new badges probably reflects on my laziness rather than your tightness!
Good that you still have the S - shame about the crap weather! You could probably buy some time by pointing out that the best time to sell would be around June. That'll give you enough time to come up with some figures to prove that the relative lack of depreciation of the S versus a normal car would actually make the S cheaper in the long run!?
Glad to hear that all's going well with the bump. We're at 6 weeks and counting - out shopping for a double buggy tomorrow!
Have a great New Year,
Richard

Thanks for the handy advice - unfortunately it's come a little bit late, but I'll bear it in mind next time!
I've heard of small children being left in cars and letting the handbrake off, but a foetus causing a crash is a new one on me! I blame the parents myself!
As far as the buggy goes, we will be looking for an open top two seater model, probably using lightweight panels on a steel chassis.
